2013 Pace Zenith Awards Finalists

Adelaide Control Engineering has been selected as a finalist in the 2013 Pace Zenith Awards in both the Mining, Minerals & Exploration and Machine Builders categories.  Adelaide Control Engineering was nominated for work carried out on the PhosEnergy Plant.

The basic requirement of the project was to build a pilot uranium processing plant to extract uranium in the form of U3O8 from a phosphate deposit where it constitutes an undesirable impurity when the phosphate is to be processed into fertilizer.  More information on the plant can be found on our "Phos Energy" page and on Urtek's website.

The annual PACE Zenith Awards was established by Process & Control Engineering (PACE) magazine to publicly-recognise and reward companies that show leadership in engineering and technological excellence and innovation across nine industries.
